Dryer Plug L shaped prong in Wrong Location
If the L shaped prong on the dryer cord is on the bottom, the customer will need to rotate the inside dryer plate to match the dryer plug. This problem generally occurs on Whirlpool one piece stacked washers and dryers. Although this situation is rare it does happen in 1 percentage of situations. Below is a whirlpool dryer plug and you can see the L shaped prong is located at the bottom of the dryer cord head, there needs to be an adjustment made.
How to Fix
BEFORE
AFTER
In order to correct this problem, the customer must rotation the inside dryer plate 180 degrees. By doing this the L shaped prong is not at the bottom of the machine. In this position it matches the whirlpool plug.

STEP 3
Once the screws are removed, grab the face plate and spin it 180 degrees, clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on which way is easier. So that it is facing the opposite direction.
